Winning one award for a video of ours is fantastic, but to end up winning three for the same piece is unbelievable. The latest award to add to our collection is none other than the Drum Cream Awards for best online video, Kayleigh’s Love Story.
A piece developed to share Leicestershire resident Kayleigh Haywood’s final days before she was murdered, has generated such interest that it has won 3 separate awards. Kayleigh’s Love Story isn’t one of our normal projects and a lot of time went into making sure we delivered the appropriate message. We wanted to keep it respectful, but also make sure we were delivering the honest message of this is reality, in order to show the consequences of speaking to strangers online.
Normally when we win an award we’re not only thrilled, we also feel very proud of the recognition for all our handwork. However this time it was very different. Due to the nature of the video and the story behind it, we don’t feel proud about it but instead feel thankful that we have been part of a bigger campaign to help stop it from happening again.Interested in working with us?
