When we create videos for clients we always try to diversify the content produced. We want everything that leaves the Affixxius office to be unique, produced to a high standard and more importantly exactly what our client is expecting. As you can imagine It’s wonderful when we get returning customers, but it’s always refreshing to do something a little different. A prime example is our recent collaboration with Lincoln’s award winning estate agency, Pygott & Crone.
The theme of the video was about discovering a way to simplify the mammoth task of finding the right home, an exercise that many people struggle with. Pygott & Crone wanted to show that they really cared about their customers, and to portray in the video that their ultimate goal is always to find consumers a home that brings harmony.
The video tells the story of a man who is trying to find the right living space to enjoy playing his piano, however for one reason or another can’t seem to achieve this. As the video progresses you see this man move from home to home in a desperate attempt to seek some sort of housing tranquility, however at the end he finally finds the right home where he can play his music happily.
All sounds nice and easy to organise, right? According to Senior Producer Billy King, it was a logistical nightmare getting a piano to 3 separate locations across London. So even though the video may look cool and calm, it was anything but! We ended up using a specific piano moving service to escort this bespoke, vibrant red piano to the various filming spots. Head mover Klaus Weltner was a superhero in the eyes of the staff after navigating this epic piano around some very tight corners! As you’ll spot in the video some of the locations were rather small and awkward but Klaus somehow managed it - ultimately giving him his legendary status amongst staff.
Despite the non-stop piano coordination plans, Affixxius grew somewhat attached to the piano and it now rests happily in the office Atrium. One of the biggest rewards, (apart from a great video) was discovering many of the Affixxius team actually know how to play the piano. If you follow us on twitter you may have already spotted some musical footage... and we’re not just talking chopsticks!
