Productions have been thick and fast the last couple of months, there have been quite a varied bunch in both the academic and corporate strands of the business from racing drones around Ascot racecourse to filming kids on a wildlife adventure with the Bushcraft company. The project with Ascot was so technically adept that we were able to feature a wide variety of filming equipment on the shoot. We got to work with some top-notch First Person View drone racing pilots and tour across the iconic racing ground attended regularly by many celebrities and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. The completed promotional film has done very on social media and raised significant buzz for the recently held Shergar Cup.
It’s been great to see some of our projects going live with the third instalment of our award-winning Cricket Has Landed campaign rounding off a great three-year series. Filmed almost entirely in a large green-screen and motion capture studio, we raised the bar when it came to the technical application and specialist tools infused into the project and produced something truly epic in my opinion. The tagline #CicketHasLanded has been so popular that it was trending on twitter earlier this month, garnering even more fantastic acclaim for our company and production crew.
The Jessica’s Story trailer has also received some fantastic commendation from mainstream press and members of the public. Both these projects have been great to be involved with and show the increasing range of work we are involved in, always amazing to see a project you worked on go on to achieve such great coverage. Producing such a sensitive film usually takes a significant degree of planning and afterthought from all parties involved, we were very sure to reflect that in the finished piece. With Jessica’s Story in particular, we are all extremely happy with the final film and I’m very much looking forward to the release of the full film in the coming months. Its been quite a ground-breaking project for both ourselves and Leicestershire Police, we all hope it increases the awareness of the problem its addressing.
