  • Birmingham Airport’s new TV campaign, a dynamic collaboration between RBH and Affixxius, brings to life the thrilling start of any journey with the campaign line “We’re on our way.” RBH, the lead creative agency, envisioned a campaign that resonates with the familiar excitement that begins at the airport itself. The advert, directed by Dave Whayman and beautifully captured by DOP Daniel Eastgate, follows the journeys of three different groups of travelers, portraying Birmingham Airport as the gateway to memorable destinations. The production showcases the expertise of a talented crew: RBH’s Creative Director Michael Vines led the concept, while producers Liam Wadd and Billy King coordinated the film’s seamless execution. The visuals were enhanced by stills photographer Dan Ross, adding a rich, immersive dimension to the campaign. Post-production specialists Pete Black (HOP), Andy Kiernan (3D), and Jonny Norton (2D) collaborated to deliver the final polish, while Harbour Picture Company provided the cinematic grade that elevates the visual narrative. The project management team, including James Williams, Victoria Valentine, Lydia Ferrari Kehoe, Aimee Wood, Charlotte McCann, and Charlotte Banks, ensured smooth delivery from start to finish.Designed to heighten Birmingham Airport’s position as the UK’s best-connected travel hub, “We’re on our way” reminds audiences of the variety and accessibility of destinations available, and how the joy of travel begins at Birmingham Airport.
