“Welcome Home” for the client ‘Invest to Save’ is a testament to their practical and pragmatic approach to addressing financial and environmental concerns. The TV commercial revolves around showcasing the welcoming and cosy ambiance resulting from making intelligent energy choices within a family home. The production seamlessly integrates computer-generated and practical transitions to fly through the family home in one continuous shot, highlighting key energy and cost-saving technologies.

The transitions in the advert serve as the “wow factor,” utilising CGI to create seamless transitions through the ceilings of each scene into the next. The relatable cast plays a crucial role, exuding affluence and aspirational style while maintaining a real and relatable family dynamic. The strong winter sun feel, characterised by bright light streaming through windows, coupled with soft furnishings and cosy clothing, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the commercial.

The story unfolds with a drone shot above a detached residential home, transitioning to ground level as the family enters, capturing the essence of warmth and hospitality. The fluid sequence takes viewers through the family’s home, reaffirming the film’s central message.
