Black Friday felt a little different for us this year as it marked the launch of one of our most highly anticipated campaigns of 2024. A true heavyweight of the fitness apparel industry, Gymshark tasked us with creating a thumb-stopping campaign as part of their Black Friday activations. The creative premise was to showcase the amount of reasons to shop the retailer’s Black Friday deals as being endless, even infinite, so much so that the laptop featured on screen explodes after being sent into over-drive. Dozens of pieces of content from athletes across the world bombarded the screen, highlighting why the brand is unbeaten on quality, comfort, and style. Director David Whayman, supported by the talented Affixxius crew and expertise of Quicksilver Special Effects, brought these vibrant and energetic visuals to life. We created dozens of versions for both paid social and in-store, multiple languages across the UK, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany, as well as four aspect ratios.
